Chapter Philanthropy
The Zeta Psi Chapter of Kappa Kappa Gamma supports three philanthropies: the Kappa Kappa Gamma Foundation, The JED Foundation, and Brenner Children’s Hospital. The Kappa Kappa Gamma foundation is our fraternity’s national philanthropy, which gives us the opportunity to help our fellow sisters. In addition to helping create programs to strengthen and educate chapters, the KKG foundation provides scholarships and financial aid to sisters in need. Money raised for the KKG foundation promotes each member’s education as well as provides relief for sisters who have experienced natural disaster, illness or other setbacks.
The Jed Foundation is another philanthropy that Kappa supports nationally. The Jed Foundation (JED) is a nonprofit that protects emotional health and prevents suicide for our nation’s teens and young adults, giving them the skills and support they need to thrive today and tomorrow. Our chapter is committed to promoting and advocating for social, mental and psychical wellness within our immediate community and beyond.
Locally, Zeta Psi supports Brenner Children’s Hospital. Brenner Hospital provides medical assistance to over 4,500 kids a year. Every year, we hold an annual golf tournament to raise money for Brenner so that they may continue to help these kids and provide patients with various children’s programs, continue providing care, while also expanding their research and medical assistance. Brenner Children’s hospital is close to the heart of Zeta Psi chapter, and we love being able to help such a great, local cause.
We support our philanthropies through different events such as Kappa Kisses, Kappa Kaddies and Kappa Kandy Grams.
